As of January 19, 2021, we have moved to a new electronic medical record (EMR), Modernizing Medicine.
The goal is to streamline the process, from registration to improving access to your medical records, to having a better understanding of the diagnosis and treatment plan. In this time of COVID, our hope is to expedite your visit by performing online registration prior to your visit. You will then have access to your medical file, including any office notes and/or diagnostic reports. You may also communicate through the EMR messaging service. Lastly, the EMR promises the ability to navigate the opacities of insurance coverage, with real-time estimates of costs associated with different procedures. (We'll see how well that works.)
When you call to make an appointment, we will obtain your email address and send you a link to register on the website. You will have 72 hours from that point to activate your account. Prior to your first visit, we ask that you take the time to go through the My Health tab to enter any relevant medical history. Please pay particular attention to your medication list, as this may affect the medical decision-making process.
